WIFVNE Selects RESISTANCE for Table Read at Lonely Seal Film Festival

Women in Film and Video New England (WIFVNE) has chosen Caitlin McCarthy’s WWII action thriller RESISTANCE for a table read at the Lonely Seal Women in Film Showcase.

The event is planned for Saturday October 7, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and will include a film block, the table reading, and a networking hour.

Additionally, Caitlin’s crime thriller A NATIVE LAND is a finalist in the Lonely Seal International Film Festival's Screenplay Competition.

Lonely Seal is known as the home of "stories aching to be told." The Grand Prize Screenplay Winner will receive a showcase for cinema buyers at Cannes, one year of development advice, and one year of strategic financing and distribution advice. The winner will be announced at the festival’s awards ceremony on Sunday, October 8th.
